UPPER SANDUSKY — Anna Gerber scored her first two varsity goals to lead the Upper Sandusky Lady Rams to a 3-0 shutout of Ada in a North Central Ohio Soccer Association match Monday.
Gerber found the net for her first goal at the 25:40 mark of the first half and was assisted by Mia Norris and Riley Messersmith. Gerber’s second goal was at 39:01 of the second half on an assist from Norris.
In between, Hannah Windau scored at 3:00 of the first half with an assist from Gerber to account for the other Rams’ goal.
Cortni Brown defended all 10 of the Bulldogs’ shots on goal. It was Brown’s 11th career shutout as a goalkeeper.
Upper Sandusky moves to 4-4 on the year, 1-1 in the NCOSA. Ada falls to 2-5, 0-1.
The Rams will be back in action on Sept. 17 when they travel to Bluffton for a 7 p.m. start.
