ONTARIO (Crawford County Now) — Galion dominated the lower weight classes, with three individual champions, to finish fourth in the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference wrestling championship here Saturday afternoon.

Carter Truckovich (126), Gradey Harding (132) and Ryder Alberty (138) brought home titles.

Tiger teammates Brice McDaniel (165) was second, Cameron Kuehlman (190) and Carsten Branstetter (144) placed third and Chayse Rinehart (285) got fifth.

Both Truckovich and Harding are projected state champions. Harding reached state the past two seasons.

This win marked Harding’s fourth MOAC title and it also gave him career win No. 150.

Five other Galion grapplers placed sixth.

GOLDEN KNIGHTS RULE

IBERIA — The hosts edged out Elgin to win the Knox Morrow Athletic Conference tourney on their home mats Saturday.

Northmor produced 6 champions in Xander Allen (106), Ethan Amens (120), Brady Carr (132), Samson Walters (150), Carson Campbell (165) and Nye Escue (215).

The Golden Knights placed in the top 4 in all but one weight class.
