Ashleigh Wright won the 200 freestyle and the 100 backstroke in 1:21..81, her season best. Bri Wallis won the 500 yd. freestyle and was 2nd in the 100 yd. butterfly. Elise Barnhart had 2nd place finishes in the 50 and 100 yd. freestyle with her season best times. Bri Streib was 2nd int eh 200 yd. freestyle. Sara Garverick was 2nd in the 100 yd. backstroke. Danneille Schneider posted season best times in the JV 50 and 100 freestyle events. Bri Strieb posted a season best in the 100 yd. freestyle.
Sam Rigdon won the 50 and 100 yd. freestyle events. Eli Skaggs won the 200 yd. IM and the 100 yd. backstroke.. Clay Karnes won the 100 yd. butterfly and 500 yd. freestyle. Landon Rose won the 200 yd. freestyle. Luke Eisnaugle had 2nd place finishes in the 100 free and 100 yd. breaststroke. Lucas Conner was 2nd in the 50 freestyle and 500 freestyle events.
“The Galion swimmers had a good meet,” Galion swimming coach Ted Temple said. “We are getting ready for the MOAC Championships on January 30. The next meet will be January 28 at the Galion YMCA vs Mansfield Madison.”
