After trailing 21-7 late into the second quarter of their homecoming game the Galion Tigers scored 31 unanswered points to defeat the River Valley Vikings 38-21.

Galion’s lone lead in the first half came with 3:52 in the first quarter when Jacob Fryer scored from 4 yards out; a PAT by Connor Morton put Galion up 7-6. River Valley scored on their next 2 drives to go up 21-7 and it was all Galion from there. Galion Scored with 27 seconds to go in the half to bring the gap within 7. Galion tied the game at 21 with 10:52 to go in the 3rd quarter Drake Barnett scoring from one yard out. Barnett scored Galion’s 2 final touchdowns to stretch the lead to 35-21, and Morton ended the game’s scoring on a 32 yard field goal with 4:53 to go in the game to put Galion up 38-21.
Chase Cook led Galion through the air completing 5 of 6 passes for 86 yards and a touchdown. Drake Barnett led the Tigers’ rushing attack with 166 yards on 27 attempts for 3 touchdowns. Jacob Fryer caught 2 receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown.

Jax Harville went 12 of 30 in the air for the Vikings for 157 yards 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions.

Buckeye Central handed Bucyrus its sixth N-10 loss of the season behind Grant Loy’s 4 touchdown passes.

Buckeye Central jumped out to a 19-0 lead in the first quarter on two Loy touchdown passes and a blocked punt that was recovered by Avery Garberick. Bucyrus got on the board with 4:37 to go in the second quarter on a 4 yard run by Logan Tacket, however a kick return on the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown, and a Loy to Brice Brenneman touchdown took Buckeye Central into the half with a 35-7 lead.

Grant Loy connected with Brenneman for a third touchdown with 6:15 to go in the third quarter to put B.C. up 42-7. With a 35 point lead the running clock rule was placed into effect, however Bucyrus ended the rule scoring 2 touchdowns in the fourth quarter on a 5 yard touchdown pass from Damon Parsell to Clinton Carr, and a 12 yard touchdown run from Baily Johnston. Buckeye Central’s Athan Moyer scored a 99 yard touchdown run in between the two Bucyrus scores closed out the game for B.C.
On top of the 4 touchdown passes Loy threw for 203 yards on 12 of 16 passing. Moyer gobbled up 188 yards on the ground on 19 attempts and 1 touchdown, and Brenneman hauled in the rock six times for 188 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Parsell led the Bucyrus Redmen through the air and on the ground passing for 100 yards completing 14 of 23 attempts for 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. On the ground Parsell rushed for 115 yards on 22 attempts.
