It took some extra effort, but one Crawford County golfer has extended his season to the limit. Eric Powell will be representing Galion and the NCC in the state golf tournament next Friday and Saturday at North Star Golf Course in Sunbury.
Powell shot 78 at district tournament Thursday at Red Hawk Run in Findlay and captured the second individual spot in a sudden-death playoff with Shane Meek from Port Clinton.
