GALION — Lexington boys and Ottawa-Glandorf girls won team championships at the Galion Kiwanis Invitational here Friday night. The meet was delayed about an hour due to heavy rain and lightning.

Colonel Crawford girls came in fourth and Galion seventh. Galion boys took fifth and the Eagle boys eighth in the 13-team field.

The Tigers had multiple placers.

· Jacob Chambers won both the 100-meter dash (11.02) and the 200-meter dash (22.38). He placed third in the long jump (20-feet, 4-inches).

· Linkon Tyrrell won the 110-meter hurdles (14.85). He finished fourth in the 300-meter hurdles (41.20).

· Miranda Stone won the girls shot put (38-feet, 8.5-inches) and took third in the girls discus throw (140-feet, 1-inch).

· Isaiah North was third in the high jump (6-feet).

· Zach Sallee was third (11.20) in the 100.

· Makayla Halbisen was third in the girls 3200-meter run (11:42.12).

· Galion’s girls 4X800 meter relay team was third (9:57.83).

The Eagles also had top finishers.

· Mirah Holt took first in the girls long jump (16-feet, 6.25-inches).

· Niyah Shipman won the girls high jump (5-feet). She was third in the girls long jump (16-feet, 2-inches).

· Hailey Slagle was third in the girls 100-meter dash (13.04) and took fourth in the girls 200-meter dash (27.54).

· Cecelia Chase took second in the girls 1600-meter run (5:14.28) and fourth in the girls 800-meter run (2:26.13).

· Trevor Vogt took second in both the 110-meter hurdles (14.88) and the 300-meter hurdles (40.20).
