Galion’s John Poffenbaugh pitched a 3 hitter, while his teammates pounded out 10 hits and scored 12 runs to defeat Bucyrus12-1 in five innings Wednesday afternoon.

The Tiger senior struck out 3 and walked just one as Galion improved their record to 10-2 in the North Central Conference and 18-4 overall.

The Tigers were led on offense by Connor Campbell who was 3 for 3 with a double and a solo home run.  Chad Karnes added a pair of singles.

After Bucyrus scored a run in the first on a double, a sacrifice bunt and a sack fly, Galion tied the game on a walk, stolen base and a pair of Redmen errors before adding two additional runs in the first.  Galion added three runs in the second and scored 6 times in the fourth.
