With a log jam at the top of the North Central Conference, something had to give Friday night with two of the top teams squaring off under the lights of Friday night.

The Wynford Royals went into Colonel Crawford Eagles nest with high hopes to continue their NCC winning ways. Their hopes were dashed when Eagles’ Dakota Fulton blocked a Royals Punt at the one yard line late in the game. The stage was then set for Dalton Scott to grab the game winning touchdown to put the Eagles on top for a Final of 20-14.

Nate Klingenbereger led the Eagles passing attack going 10 of 17 for 82 yards. Klingenberger also added a rushing touchdown to his numbers. Eli Reffey led Colonel Crawford’s ground game with 56 yards on 16 attempts and a touchdown. Wide Receiver Nick Adams led the Eagles receiving corps snagging 5 receptions for 34 yards.

Keaton Teynor led the Royals on the ground and through the air rushing the ball 19 times for 166 yards and two touchdowns including a 91 yard touchdown scamper. Through the air Teynor wasn’t as efficient completing 1 pass out of 6 attempts for 8 yards. Nick Looker caught the 8 yard reception.

The Bucyrus Redmen notched another one in the win column defeating the Crestline Bulldogs 58-18 at Crestline’s historic Hutson Field.

Bucyrus Quarterback Cole Murtiff had a perfect game completing all 11 of his pass attempts for 157 yards and a score. Colin Light led the Redment on the ground with 75 yards on 8 attempts for 2 scores. Bucyrus Wide Receiver Trent Neiderkohr caught three passes for 62 yards and a touchdown.

Quarterback J.R. Wolfe led the Bulldogs in the air completing 5 of 8 passes for 107 yards and a touchdown. Codi Cooke led Crestline in rushing and receiving running 5 times for 54 yards and a touchdown, as well as catching 2 receptions for 86 yards and another score.

The Buckeye Central Bucks travelled to Upper Sandusky to take on the Rams with hopes to pick up a victory in consecutive weeks. The Rams had a different idea handing the Bucks their sixth defeat of the season with a score of 26-8.

Cody Roberts led Buckeye Central on the ground carrying the pigskin 82 yards on 10 attempts. Alec Baldosser scored the Bucks only touchdown while amassing 69 yards on 20 attempts. Kameron Jones led Buckeye Central’s two headed Quarterback attack completing 7 passes for 54 yards. Jordan Hermstein led the Bucks receiving bunch with 5 receptions for 78 yards.
