With one week in the books, every Friday Fanatic managed to stay above .500, with Will Beard and Mike Sparks claiming the best records at 8-2.

James Massara, Josh Stallings and the fans squeaked in a winning percentage at 6-4. Those three also are the only ones to go against the majority by picking Cardington to beat Bucyrus. Six of the eight pickers think Bucyrus will bounce back from a week 1 loss versus the Pirates who also lost week 1.

The fans broke three ties among the pickers, by most fans thinking Fisher Catholic will defeat Crestline, Vanlue will be too much for Ridgedale and Colonel Crawford will be able to take care of North Union.

The majority of the Fanatics, along with the fans,” showed their stripes this week by most picking both Galion and Seneca East to defeat Carey and Newark Catholic, respectively.

Many of the Fanatics decided to follow Will’s week 1 example, after being the only one to pick Wynford to be victorious and decided to select the Royals to beat Edison in week 2.

Upper Sandusky’s week 1 win versus River Valley convinced most of the Fanatics to give the Rams a nod in a week 2 matchup versus Mount Gilead. Josh Stallings, as in week 1, is the lone Fanatic to think the Indians can pick up the win.

Every fanatic agreed on a winner on two occasions for week 2. Everyone agreed that Dalton will get revenge for a regional girls’ basketball loss to Buckeye Central last season and agree with the belief that Mohawk will get a win versus former Midland Athletic League foe Hopewell-Loudon.

Reminder, that the fan picks are based on the majority of the fans selections made on WBCO and Crawford County Now.

Picks may be made Monday through noon on Friday.
