FOSTORIA (Crawford County Now) — Four teams and three local individuals advanced to the district tournament from the girls’ 10-team sectional tournament at Bowlero Lanes on Thursday.

The format was three regular games and six Baker games. Liberty-Benton had a sparkling 3384 aggregate score for first place, followed by Eastwood (2977), North Baltimore (2976), and Upper Sandusky (2935) for the teams moving on.

Individuals advancing included Kylee Crager of Galion, who rolled a 486, good for fifth overall. Cami Myers of Bucyrus had a 472 series for an eighth-place finish, and Wynford’s Kendall Naufzinger was 11th with a 468. Naufzinger was the only Royals’ bowler in the field.

Bucyrus just missed going on as a team, finishing fifth with a 2625 score and Colonel Crawford was sixth with a 2616.

Upper Sandusky freshman Brynn Routzahn had the fourth highest individual series with a 488. Eastwood’s August Rubel had the high single game with a 210 in Game 1.

The district tournament is scheduled for Friday at 10 a.m. at Interstate Lanes in Rossford.
