The finalists are set for the 51st Bucyrus Ladies Invitational Bowling Tournament scheduled for Saturday at 1 p.m.
In the losers’ bracket on Tuesday, Brittany Slagle eliminated Morgan Swavel, 733-687. Swavel leaves the tournament as the fourth-place finisher.
In the winners’ bracket, rookie Carrie Spears remained unbeaten, knocking Lori Angel into the losers’ bracket by a score of 737-642. Spears qualified for the championship from the winners’ bracket.
On Wednesday, the final spot was determined with a mother-daughter matchup. Daughter, Slagle, defeated mother, Angel, 695-623 to come out of the losers’ bracket.
Spears and Slagle will square off in a three-game series on Saturday. If Slagle wins that, there would be a one-game roll-off for the championship.
