The Rams and a lone Redmen were the victors in Saturday’s NCC tennis tournament held at Bucyrus High School. Tennis players had to wait a week to compete in the final NCC tennis tournament after last week’s meet was rained out.
Bucyrus’ Mark Musick came out on top after defeating Upper Sandusky’s Seth Sprang 6-4 and 6-4.

1st Mark Musick (Bucyrus) def. Seth Sprang (Upper Sandusky) 6-4, 6-4
2nd Evan Scheck (Upper Sandusky) def. Dalon King (Bucyrus) 6-2, 6-0
3rd Seth Frey (Upper Sandusky) def. Caleb Ivy (Galion) 6-2, 6-0
1st Doubles: Dan Maltsbargar/Aaron Pirc (Upper Sandusky) def. DJ Dagher/Greg Patrick (Bucyrus) 6-1, 6-1
2nd Doubles: Drew Barth/Noah Frey (Upper Sandusky) def. Barker/Oehler (Galion) 6-1, 6-2
Bucyrus and Crestline will be moving on to the Northern 10 Conference next year while Galion will compete in the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference. With not enough schools participating in the sport next year, tennis teams in the N10 will have to compete in an independent schedule.
