The 51st Ladies Invitational Bowling Tournament continued with the losers’ bracket on Tuesday evening at Suburban Lanes, narrowing the field to eight bowlers.

Two-time past champion, Patricia Horsley, ousted 2018 second runner-up, Kathy Watts, from the tournament by a score of 769-660.

Brittany Slagle advanced by topping Michelle Sebring, 696-642, Joy Steurer stayed alive by edging Lisa Penwell, 680-664, and firs alternate Paula Iler, who replaced Sharon Alspach due to illness, remained in the tournament with a 72-667 decision over Tricia Breighner.

The four winners move on to another losers’ bracket session on Saturday when Slagle will face Iler and Horsley will take on Steurer.

The winners’ bracket will also continue Saturday. Tacsha Ridgeway will bowl Carrie Spears and Morgan Swavel goes against Lori Angel.

Both brackets begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
