The Colonel Crawford boys basketball team earned a split on a double weekend with a 73-43 win over Seneca East on Saturday. The Eagles are now 11-5 overall and 8-3 in N-10 action while Seneca East drops to 4-12 and 2-9.

The Eagles did most of the damage in the middle two quarters when they outscored the Tigers, 43-19. Colonel Crawford shot a torrid eight of 12 from the arc and 22 of 35 from the field.

Owens Adams paced the Colonel Crawford offense with 23 points while Brody Martin had 12 points and Harley Shaum added 10.

Feires had 13 for Seneca East.

Buckeye Central challenged unbeaten Upper Sandusky Saturday and gave the Rams their closest game of the year before falling 53-46.

The Bucks are now 10-5 and 7-3. Upper Sandusky improves to 15-0 and 11-0.

Buckeye Central outscored the Rams 27-16 in the second half, but a 37-19 deficit through two quarters proved too much to overcome.

Jacob Shade led the Bucks with 16 and Scott Heydinger had 10. Wes Vent of Upper Sandusky led all scorers with 21 and teammate Kameron Beekman had 20.

Other N-10 scores on Saturday were Bucyrus over Mohawk for the Redmen’s first win of the season, 53-45 and Wynford over Carey by a basket, 54-52.

Crestline traveled to Danville for a Mid-Buckeye League contest and came home on the wrong end of an 84-32 score. Kevin Winkler, Zach Gregory and Connor Kurtzman each had 5 points for Crestline.

Skyler Durbin of Danville led all scorers with 28.
