With four players in double digits, the Colonel Crawford Eagles knocked the Wynford Royals out of the State Tournament 64-41 Friday night.
Wynford jumped to an early lead, but Colonel Crawford led by four at the end of the first period. Going into the half the Royals were down 7, but were able to cut the deficit to 3 in the third period before the Eagles rallied to take a 6 point lead at the end of the third. Colonel Crawford went on a 20-3 run in the fourth to gain the victory.
Nate Klingenberger led the Eagles with 20 points, Conner McCreary and Dylan Gully each contributed 14 points, and Logan Sager added another 11.
Only Hunter Miller scored in double figures for Wynford finishing the game with 18 points.
The Eagles Advance to district play starting Thursday night at Ashland University.
