In their final home game of the season the Buckeye Central Bucks were able to keep it close early on, but in the end the Colonel Crawford Eagles emerged victorious 34 – 6.
Colonel Crawford struck first when Kaden Schnell picked up a fumble and ran the rock back 40 yards for the games first score.
Buckeye Central struck back three and a half minutes later when Owen Ackerman rushed five yards to pay dirt. A missed PAT brought the game within one for the Bucks 7-6. That would be as close as it would get for the home team as the Eagles scored 27 unanswered points on their way to their seventh victory on the season.
The Eagles featured two rushers reaching the 100 yard plateau with Trevor Shawber gaining 143 yards on 20 carries and three touchdowns. Blake Treisch added 109 yards on 14 carries for another score.
With the win Colonel Crawford improves to 7-2 on the season and will take on Upper Sandusky in their final game of the regular season next Friday.
With the loss Buckeye Central falls to 2-7 and will close out their season on the road against Wynford.
