Legions of Colonel Crawford and Wynford fans poured into the Mac Morrison Gymnasium creating an electric atmosphere prior to Friday night’s game.

At the end of the first half however the Wynford team and fans were put on ice as Colonel Crawford went into the intermission with a 49 to 20 lead.

The Eagles shooters soared in the game making 27 field goals on their way to a 73 to 44 victory over the visiting Royals.

Two Crawford players scored more than 20 points in the game with Dylan Gully Leading the way with 24 points. Todd Entenmann wasn’t far behind, as he put up 23 points in the winning effort. Derek Burkhart rounded out double digit scorers for the Eagles with 11 points.

Austin Shutler and James Ort led Wynford scorers with 10 points each.

With the win Colonel Crawford improves to 5-0 with a 2-0 record in the N-10. The Eagles will host The Bucyrus Redmen on Tuesday.

The loss drops Wynford to a 2-1 record with a 1-1 record in the N-10, they will travel to Carey today for their next matchup.

Buckeye Central boys basketball 1Buckeye Central traveled to Crestline, but made themselves at home beyond the arc in a 72 to 21 victory over the Bulldogs.

As a team the Bucks shot 8 of 14 from three point range with 6 of the three’s coming from Grant Loy.

On his way to a game leading 28 points, Loy drew fans to their feet midway through the fourth quarter as he drove the baseline took to the air and threw down a slam dunk.

Austin Wurm added 23 points en route to the victory.

The Bulldogs were led by Nate Coffman who scored 10 of the team’s 21 points.

Buckeye Central improves to 4-1 with the victory and 2-0 in the N-10 conference. The Bucks will host Upper Sandusky later today.

The loss drops Crestline to 0-4 with a 0-2 N-10 record. Crestline will host Ridgedale later today.

Outscoring Seneca East 4 to 3 in overtime the Bucyrus Redmen slipped past the Tigers 53-52 Friday night.

Bucyrus set the tone early in the game jumping out to a 27 to 21 halftime lead. However the second half Seneca East took control outscoring the Redmen 28 to 22 for a 49 to 49 tie at the end of regulation.

Dalon King led Bucyrus scorers with 13 points.

Seneca East had two players in double digits in their effort with Jack Daniel scoring 14 points and Hunter Saylors adding 12.

With the victory Bucyrus improves to a 5-0 record with a 3-0 record in the N-10. The Redmen will travel to Colonel Crawford on Tuesday to battle fellow undefeated school Colonel Crawford.

In other action around the N-10 Upper Sandusky defeated Ridgedale 69 to 50.
