NORTH ROBINSON (Crawford County Now) — Colonel Crawford and Mohawk boys teams finished in the top two spots in the annual Bob Royer Invitational here Friday night.
The Eagles edged their Northern 10 Athletic Conference rivals 134-118, as the two squads battled in several events.
Wynford was third and Crestline fourth.
On the girls side, the Lady Eagles finished third behind Lucas and Upper Sandusky.
Wynford took seventh, Mohawk was ninth and Crestline 10th.
Boys top placers
- Mohawk A’s 4X800 relay team of Brayden Cleveland, Garrett Rinehart, Kolten Helton, and Jett Loesser took first with a time of 8:25.13 to beat the Eagles in 8:32.
- Colonel Crawford took the 4X400 meter relay in 3:33.42.
- The Warriors quartet of Andrew Woodland, John Stansberry, Braxton Jenkins, and Mason Schimpf took first in the 4X200 relay in 1:35.78.
- Brayden Cleveland got first in the 1600 meters in 4:40.63 and Eagles runner Shawn Auck took second in 4:44.31.
- Cleveland also captured the 3200-meter run in 10:18.69.
- Crawford edged Mohawk in the 4X100 meter relay, with times of 44.71 to 45.69.
- Anthony Evans of Wynford raced to the finish line first in the 400 meters in 51.02.
- Braxton Jenkins of Mohawk took the 300-meter hurdles in 42.69, topping CC’s Jacob Cochran at 43.51.
- Adam Scott took first in the 800 meters in 1:59.42. Colten Keller of Crestline placed second at 2:03.71.
- Parker Bowman of Crestline was tops in the 200 meters in 23.41.
Girls top placers
- Adison Stuckey of Wynford won two events, placing first in the 100 meters in 13.10 and taking the 400 meters in 59.38.
- Colonel Crawford’s 4X100 meter relay was first in 53.0.3.
- Colonel Crawford’s Gabby Roston took the pole vault with 11-feet, 6-inches and the 300 hurdles in 49.97.
- Teammate Mira Holt won the long jump at 18 feet, 3.25-inches. She also took the 200 meters in 26.34.

Hopewell-Loudon Dick Schultz Invitational
BASCOM — Bucyrus finished second to Lakota at Hopewell-Louden High School Friday night. The Raiders outpointed the Redmen, 135-127.5.
Buckeye Central finished ninth.
Tiffin Calvert took home top honors in the girls division, with Buckeye Central sixth and Bucyrus eighth.
Boys top placers:
- The Redmen’s Christian Neal took second in the 100 meters in 11.6, a personal best.
- Karter Boggs also recorded a PR in the 1600 meters with a winning time of 4:27.31.
- Boggs finished second in the 800-meter run, clocking 9:58.38.
- Bucyrus A squad of Maseo Hall, DaShawn Cosey, Demaris Munn-Page and Christian Neal took first in the 4X200 in 1:33.15.
- That same foursome also won the 4X100 relay in 44.97.
- Ivan Pirnstill was second in the pole vault at 12-feet, 6-inches.
Girls top placers
- Bucyrus 4X100 relay of Carey Campbell, Ella Green, Peyton Fackler and Kim Burling took second in 55.30.
- Nevaeh Metzger of Buckeye Central recorded a PR of 53.05 in the 300-meter hurdles to place second. She also took third in the long jump at 15 feet, 2.5-inches.

Margaretta Invitational
CASTALIA — Seneca East boys were third and the girls ninth in a 10-team field in the 59th Margaretta Invitational Friday night.
Boys top placers
- The 4X800 meter relay team of Evan Schiefer, Bradley Smith, Ayden Perkins, and Owen Gahring took first in 8:03.2, a meet record.
- Schiefer took first in the 3200 meters in 9:49.15 and placed second in the 1600 meters in 4:27.56.
- Smith took third in the 800 meters in 2:04.21.
- The 4X400 relay of Bryler Beamer, Perkins, Andrew Fay, and Gahring claimed second place in 3:33.56.
- Justin Reiter was second in the shot put with a throw of 50 feet, 8.75-inches.
- Ethan Shultz was third in the long jump at 20 feet, 9.25-inches. He also took third in the pole vault with a 12-foot mark.
Girls top placers
- Camryn Lantz took second in the 400 meters in 1:01.46. She was fourth in the 800 meters in 2:34.87.
- Izzy Stockmaster and Alexa Snay finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in the high jump.
