1. Wynford (8-2): As has become their custom, the Royals will play in the post season. Wynford trailed early at Buckeye Central in Week 10, but rallied for a 29-8 victory, securing both an outright Northern 10 Conference championship, but also the No. 2 spot in Division VI, Region 22. The Royals will host N10 foe Carey.
2. Galion (5-5): The Tigers actually went into Week 10 with an outside chance to make the playoffs with a win despite their 5-4 record. But the rugged MOAC schedule took its toll, as Galion dropped four of its last five games, including a season-ending 44-14 decision to Buckeye Valley.
3. Colonel Crawford (5-5): The Eagles may well be one of the best 5-5 Division VI teams in the state. While it is small consolation, all five of Colonel Crawford’s losses were to playoff teams. The Eagles also had the leading rusher in the league in Trevor Shawber.
4. Bucyrus (2-8): The
Redmen have quietly moved up in the power rankings over the past few weeks. Bucyrus finished a difficult season with an impressive 46-18 win over Crestline. The Redmen, however, sported the top passer in the N10 in sophomore Ben Seibert and the leading receiver in Gram Dick.
5. Crestlin
e (5-5): The Bulldogs showed the ability to score points. But Bucyrus shut them out in the second half of a 46-18 loss. Still, Crestline finished with a non-losing record for the first time since 2005.
6. Buckeye Central (0-10): The Bucks, despite being winless, scored first on playoff-bound and N10 champion Wynford in Week 10. Buckeye Central eventually lost, 29-8, but played hard to the end.
