Colonel Crawford, Upper Sandusky win Elks Invitational

BUCYRUS — Colonel Crawford girls and Upper Sandusky boys won the 2021 Bucyrus Elks Invitational Cross Country Meet Saturday at the Crawford County Fairgrounds.

The Eagles won the eight-team girls meet with a score of 26 total points, taking the third, fourth and fifth spots. Gabby Roston took third with a time of 20:33.90. Cecelia Chase (20:38.40) was fourth and Izzy Roston (20:54.90) was fifth.

Wynford finished second with 53 points. Allison Lust was the top Royals’ performer, coming in 10^th with a time of 21:53.90. Chloe Kaple was 11^th with a 22:24.90 effort.

Hope Morris was fifth-place Upper Sandusky’s top finisher, running eighth with a time of 21:38.10. Buckeye Central’s Nevaeh Metzger was 13^th at 22:40.40 and Harper Boggs (25:25.30) at 44^th.

On the boys’ side, Jason Barr (17:42.00) finished second, Benjamin Patchett (17:53.70) was fifth, and Ashton Vent (18:04.70) eighth for Upper Sandusky.

Luke Lawson (18:24.90) was ninth for Colonel Crawford. Caden Young (19:07.30) finished 25^th for Buckeye Central, Eli Sprague (19:45.70) was 35^th for Bucyrus and Danny Kiser (20:41.60) was 46^th for Crestline.
