HEATH — North Central Ohio again will be well represented at the OHSAA track and field meet in Dayton next week.
Colonel Crawford and Seneca East lead the way, as the top four in each event qualify.
The Lady Eagles placed second to Dawson-Bryant, 62-61. Seneca East girls finished ninth.
In boys the Tigers were second to Ashland Crestview, 51-41. Crawford boys took eighth as a team Friday evening.

· Seneca East’s Caroline Kagy, girls discus, fourth, 117-feet, 4-inches. She took fifth in the shot put (35-feet, 11.5-inches).
· Niyah Shipman, girls long jump, fifth (wildcard qualifier), 16-feet, 10.5-inches.
Others reaching the podium, but not qualifying: Wynford’s Anthony Evans placed sixth in the boys 400 meters (50.31); Bucyrus’ Eli Sprague seventh in that event (51.55).
The Redmen’s Karter Boggs took eighth in the boys 1600 meters (4:30.19).
Buckeye Central senior Allison Wright finished seventh in the girls discus throw (112-feet, 2-inches).

FOSTORIA — Mohawk failed to advance anyone from their regional meet.
Division II
LEXINGTON — Galion is sending five athletes to the state meet after the regional concluded Saturday.

The state meet begins Thursday and concludes Saturday at Welcome Stadium.
