River Valley never trailed last night as they defeated the Colonel Crawford Lady Eagles 49-38. Colonel Crawford is now 0-2 on the season.
After a slow start by both teams that had the game scoreless after 2 minutes, the Vikings led by 10 after the first period and 12 at halftime.
Colonel Crawford’s Cassie Sager led all scorers with 16 points including 4 three pointers. Kendall Stuckman led River Valley with 14 points and teammates Morgan Lott added 12 and Kayla Wooten 10.
River Valley won the JV game 33-29. Christie Longo led River Valley with 14 points; Allison Gwirtz had 9 for Colonel Crawford.
