MANSFIELD — Galion’s Miranda Stone swept the discus — throwing 135-feet, 2-inches — and the shot put at 39-feet, 4.5 inches in the 91st Mehock Relays held at Malabar Intermediate School on Saturday.
Tiger teammate Jacob Chambers won the long jump with a leap of 21-4.25. He also took third in both the 100 meters in 10.87 and the 200 meters in 22.84.
Colonel Crawford standout Cecilia Chase won the 1600 meters for the second straight year, clocking a time of 5 minutes, 28.05 seconds.
Lady Eagles teammate Gabby Roston won the pole vault at 9-feet.
East Kentwood won the girls team title with 137 points. Colonel Crawford (83) was second and Galion (66) was third.
On the boys side, Lexington won with 84 points to nudge Ashland (80.5). East Kentwood (65.5), Galion (62.5) and Crestview (60) rounded out the top five.
