Colonel Crawford attempted to overcome a 14 point halftime deficit Thursday night against New Riegel, but came up short in the end losing 60-57.

The Eagles started out of the gates slowly trailing the Blue Jackets 22-8 at the end of the first and 34-20 at the half. Crawford came alive in the second half outscoring New Riegel 15-9 to cut into the Jackets’ lead 35-43. The Eagles inched closer in the fourth outpacing the Jackets 22-17, but it was too little too late as New Riegel still maintained a 3 point lead at the final whistle.

Colonel Crawford’s Owen Adams led all scorers in the game with 23 points, Derek Burkhart and Brody Martin both contributed 10 points each.

Travis Williams led New Riegel’s scorers with 14 points, Jadon Yambert contributed 12 points, and Grant Lescallett.
