Col. Crawford continued its domination of the Northern 10 Friday night downing Ridgedale 55 to 39 to remain undefeated on the season.

Col. Crawford’s Todd Entenmann blasted off on the Rockets from behind the arc making 7 three pointers, and scoring 31 of the Eagles’ 55 points. Entenmann also grabbed 9 rebounds.

Ridgedale was led by Preston Burton’s 15 points and Monroe Britton’s 11 points.

With the victory Col. Crawford improves to 16 and 0 on the season with a 14 and 0 N10 record. Ridgedale falls to 4-13 on the season and 4 and 10 in the N10.

Crestline boys basketball 4Crestline tried to surprise the N-10 world by jumping out to an early lead against Wynford.

Crestline struck first in the game and held a 2 to 0 lead for the first two minutes before Wynford nailed a 3 to go up 3 to 2. Both teams traded blows through the first quarter, but it was the Bulldogs who sat atop the scoreboard leading 13 to 10 after 1.

The teams continued to trade shots through the second quarter, but Wynford went on a 26 to 3 run to take over the lead for good on their way to a 62 to 44 win.

Wynford had 4 players reach double digits during the game while making 10 threes as a team. Alex Crall led all scorers with 22 points, Hunter Miller added 16, and Braxton Tea and Nate Sparks each contributed 10.

Nate Coffman led Crestline with 21 points.

With the victory Wynford improves to 8 and 8 on the season with a 7 and 6 N-10 record. Crestline falls to 2 and 15 on the season and a 1 and 12 league record.

Bucyrus played gracious host to Upper Sandusky Friday night allowing the Rams to win on their home court 77 to 62.

The Rams had four players reach double digits on the night with Westin Vent scoring 18 points, Seth Frey adding 15 points, Carson Mittermaier contributing 14 points, and Cody Clifford putting up 12 points.

Bucyrus had three players reach double digits in the game with Austin Williams leading the Redmen with 19 points; Dalon King added 16 points, and Cole Murtiff contributed 12 points.

With the victory Upper improves to 13 and 4 on the season and 11 and 3 in league play. With the loss Bucyrus falls to 10 and 6 on the season with an 8 and6 record in the N-10.

Trailing by 4 points at the half, Buckeye Central couldn’t rally past the Carey Blue Devils losing 56 to 40.

The Blue Devils had 2 players reach double digits scoring in the game with Zachary Boes attaining a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. Jared Wentling added another 16 points to the Blue Devils’ victory.

Buckeye Central’s only double digit scorer was Austin Wurm who put up 12 points.

With the win Carey improves to 15 and 3 on the season and 11 and 3 in league play. Buckeye Central falls to 11 and 6, and 9 and 4 in the N-10 conference.

In other N-10 action Seneca East kept Mohawk winless on the season winning 63 to 44.

Galion boys basketball 1In other action around the county Galion’ Houston Blair put up 20 points as the Galion Tigers defeated Pleasant at home by a score of 58 to 51.
