NORTH ROBINSON — The host Eagles took third place in the annual Grove-Keller Invitational here Friday night.

Lexington won both boys and girls divisions and Ontario took second. Galion boys took fourth and the Lady Tigers finished 11th in the 15-team field.

LOCAL BOYS PLACERS

  • Galion juniors Jacob Chambers and Zach Sallee took first and second, respectively, in the 100 meters.
  • Sallee also captured the 200 meters, while Chambers was fifth in the long jump.
  • Northmor’s Cowin Becker won the 400 meters and Brady Hill of Crawford took third.
  • CC’s Adam Scott took second in the 800 meters. Colten Keller of Crestline was fourth.
  • Eagles junior Shawn Auck placed fourth in the 1600 meters and third in the 3200 meters.
  • Roen Thew of Crawford took third in the 110 hurdles, with Galion’s Sam Evans fifth.
  • Ethan Amens of Northmor placed third in the 300-meter hurdles, and Evans was fifth.
  • Galion boys nabbed second in the 4X100 meter relay and fourth in the 4X200.
  • Colonel Crawford’s quartet finished won the 4X400 and got third in the 4X200.
  • Isaiah North of Galion placed second in the high jump, with Northmor’s Conner Stockdale third.
  • Stockdale and Becker gave the Golden Knights a 1-2 finish in the long jump.
  • Colonel Crawford sophomore Luke Christman got second in the discus.
  • Galion’s Michael Drake placed third in the shot put.

LOCAL GIRLS PLACERS

  • Haylee Walker of Northmor was third in the 100 meters.
  • Senior Mira Holt took first in the 400-meter run and the long jump and added a second in the 100-meter hurdles for the Lady Eagles.
  • Teammate Rylinn Edgington won the 1600 meters.
  • Galion sophomore Makayla Halbisen captured top honors in the 3200 meters.
  • Crawford’s 4X400 relay placed first.
  • Northmor’s 4X800 relay took first.
  • Galion’s Kalynne Butterfield was third in the high jump.
  • Crawford senior Gabby Roston won the pole vault and finished fourth in the 300-meter hurdles.
