The Colonel Crawford Eagles got back on the winning track on the gridiron at the hands of the Bucyrus Redmen 62-27.
Colonel Crawford’s Blake Treisch amassed 249 yards on 18 rushing attempts for 3 touchdowns. Hayden Bute led the Eagles through the air with 159 yards and two scores, and Owin Seevers led the Eagles in receiving with 91 yards on two reception for two touchdowns.
Gavin Lewis led the Bucyrus through the air with 310 yards on 27 of 36 passing attempts for three touchdowns. Harley Robinson added three touchdowns for the Redmen as well with 2 through the air and one rushing. Roobinson had 11 receptions for 158 yards.
With the win the Eagles improve to 4-2 on the season with a 3-2 N-10 record. Colonel Crawford will host Ridgedale next Friday for the school’s homecoming game.
Bucyrus continues to search for their first victory with an 0-6 mark and 0-4 in league play. The Redmen will try to pick up their first victory next Friday on the road against Upper Sandusky.

Buckeye Central picked up their first victory on the season trouncing Ridgedale 42-0. Bucks quarterback Max Loy completed 4 of 10 passing for 117 yards three touchdowns and an interception. Loy added another score on the ground for four total touchdowns.
Owen Ackerman led the Bucks’ rushing attack with 150 yards on 20 attempts and two scores.
With the win Buckeye Central improves to 1-5 on the year and will play Carey at home next week.
In other action around the county Wynford defeated Mohawk 24-6, Galion lost to Marion Harding 40 – 12, Danville defeated Crestline 34-7.
