In girls high school basketball last night Mohawk outscored Col. Crawford 31-19 in the second half to come from behind and beat the Lady Eagles 56-49 in the N10 opener for both schools.
The Lady Warriors trailed by as many as nine before picking up their first win of the year after two losses. Col. Crawford’s record is now 2-3 on the year.
Mohawk’s Bailee Daughenbaugh led all scorers with 17 points while Chelsey Trusty and Megan Cleveland added 10 points each.
Col. Crawford was led by Jada Klingenberger’s 16 points and Lexi Hoepf’s 13.
Col. Crawford earned a split on the evening with a 43-19 win over Mohawk in the JV game. Col. Crawford’s Caitlin Koschnick led all scorers with 14 points.
