ADA (Crawford County Now) — Three area wrestlers brought home individual honors at the Ada Invitational wrestling tournament here Saturday.
The Bucyrus duo of Hayden Butcher (215) and Hayden Ginn (285) took first place, along with Brant Kirian (138) of Mohawk.
With the win Butcher now has 97 career victories for the Redmen. Asher Swerlein took second at 285.
Butcher pinned top seed Braylon McNett of Spencerville in 1:37.
No. 1 seed Kirian beat Ryan Smith of Triad via a 4-1 decision.
Teammate Wyatt Makeever (157) placed fourth and Ben Atwood (132) finished sixth. Nykk Zornes and Noah Swan also competed.
The Warriors placed fourth out of 20 schools and Bucyrus 12th. Van Buren captured team honors.

ATTICA — A pair of Seneca East wrestlers recently scored their 100th career wins.
Deacon Lacy and Jackson Gayheart each reached the milestones last weekend.

The Northern 10 Athletic Conference tournament is Feb. 21 at Seneca East High School, beginning at 10 a.m. Sectionals are Saturday, Feb. 28 at various sites.
