MANSFIELD — Bucyrus wrestlers finished second in the Tom Ellis Classic at Madison High School on Saturday.
The Redmen placed 10 of their 12 wrestlers in the meet, good for second in the field of 11 teams. Madison finished first, placing 13 of 14 wrestlers, followed by Bucyrus, Canton South and Mansfield Senior.
Clear Fork, Cloverleaf, Kenmore Garfield, Shelby, South Central, Wooster Triway and Wooster rounded out the field.
Bucyrus will wrestle in a tri-meet with Shelby at Clear Fork on Wednesday before hosting its annual wrestling invitational on Saturday. The invitational begins at 10 a.m.
