Both Bucyrus and Crestline celebrated their homecomings in week 7 however only one team came out on top.
Bucyrus Homecoming Queen Megan Flaherty watched her Redmen crushed the Bucks 48 to 14.
Cole Murtiff led Bucyrus in both passing and rushing going 21 of 27 for 231 yards and 3 touchdowns. Murtiff also carried the ball 18 times for 110 yards and another score.
Dalon King was Bucyrus’ leading receiver catching 8 passes for 88 yards and 2 touchdowns
Bucyrus quarterback Cole Murtiff passed to Dalon King for a touchdown with 25.6 seconds to go in the second quarter. After the field goal, Bucyrus was leading Buckeye Central 28-0.
Buckeye Central’s Quarterback Grant Loy went 11 of 25 for 201 yards 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions.
Scott Heydinger led Buckeye Central led Buckeye’s receiving group with 6 receptions for 118 yards and a touchdown.
Bucyrus travels to Carey for their week 8 matchup while Buckeye Central will host Colonel Crawford.
Crestline selected Janice Fischer as their homecoming queen however festivities soon turned into a nightmare on the field as the Colonel Crawford Eagles soared over the Bulldogs 54-14.
Will Kirkpatrick led Crawford in both passing and rushing categories completing 4 of 5 passes for 130 yards and 3 touchdowns. Kirkpatrick added 2 more touchdowns on the ground while rushing 5 attempts for 90 yards.
Dylan Gulley caught 2 receptions for 89 yards and 2 touchdowns to lead Colonel Crawford’s receiving team.
Chase Cooke completed 19 of 32 passes for 194 yards 2 touchdowns and 1 interception to lead the Bulldogs through the air.
Nate Coffman caught 6 receptions for 102 yards and a score to lead the Bulldogs in receiving.
In other action around the N10 and county Wynford Defeated Seneca East 60-7Carey defeated Ridgedale 62-0 and Mohawk defeated Lakota 33-7. Galion in the MOAC lost to River Valley 21-17.
