The Bucyrus girls’ tennis team defeated Crestline 4 – 1 on Thursday. Crestline’s Xena Humphrey defeated Bucyrus’ Hadley French 6 – 2, 6 – 2 but Alysaa Musselman made up for that defeat with a 6 – 1, 6 – 1 win over Crestline’s Hope Martin.
In doubles matches, the Bucyrus duo of Haley Fetters and Ashton Hawkins dominated Katlyn Stull and Megan Bartholomew 6 – 0, 6 – 0. Bucyrus’ second doubles team of Loarel Mollenkopf and Selina Snodgrass defeated Crestline’s Olivia Dowell and Lauren Williams with scores of 6 – 1 and 6 – 0.
Bucyrus will travel to Ontario Monday, Aug. 25. Crestline will be on its home turf Monday as the girls’ tennis team takes on St. Peters.
