GALION — The Bucyrus Lady Red picked up their second win of the season with a 3-2 win over Galion on Tuesday.
The Lady Tigers picked up two victories in singles. Mya Roelle defeated Adalyn Zornes, 6-1, 6-0 in first singles and Ashley Franks blanked Layla Swerlein, 6-0, 6-0 in second singles.
However, Bucyrus (2-9) took third singles when Lily Engelhorn dropped Lilly Diosi 6-1, 6-1.
The Lady Red swept doubles competition. Amirah Price and Addie Weber downed Liz Williamson and Kaylee Evans 6-2, 6-2 in first doubles. Then, Mya Rothhaar and Ella Green got by Hannah Nelson and Lily Johnson 6-2, 6-4.
Bucyrus returns to action at Fostoria next Tuesday. Galion hosts Mansfield Senior on Wednesday.
