BUCYRUS — Bucyrus won its first tennis match of the season by blanking Fostoria, 5-0.
Amirah Price won first singles over Brian Shaven, 6-0, 6-1. In second singles, Ella Green got past Morrigan Flinders, 6-0, 6-2. Kate Brennstuhl shut out Sophia Brose, 6-0, 6-0, to take third singles.
In first doubles, Emma Graves and Addie Weber dropped Ant Espinosa Snowden, 6-2, 6-1. Mya Rothhaar and Savannah Clark captured second doubles, 6-4, 6-1, over Ameliana Haughwout and Aaliyah Campos.
Bucyrus also swept three jayvee doubles matches. Lily Engelhorn and Adalyn Zornes won 6-0, Serenity Potts and Madi Kepler won 6-2, and Maci Messerschmidt and Lexi Farnwalt won 6-0.
Bucyrus (1-4) returns to action on Wednesday at Willard.
