BUCYRUS — Wynford and Bucyrus began their league bowling dual matches on Tuesday at Suburban Lanes.
The Lady Redmen defeated the Lady Royals, 1803-1628. In the process, Bucyrus set two team records — the team high game of 739 and the high two game series of 1380,
Kailey Horsley also set two individual records. She bested Faith Treese’s high game of 194 with a 198 and Maddison McDaniel’s high two game series of 348 with a 360.
Kendall Naufzinger led Wynford with a 274 two game series. Cheyenne Dunford rolled a 271.
Bucyrus won the junior varsity match 1012-902. Faith Treese had a 265 for the Redmen. Taylor Gilliam had a 186 for the Royals.
On the boys’ side, Wynford downed Bucyrus, 2444-2050. Kobie Naufzinger led the Royals with a 493, including a high game of 268. Brian Schifer was next with a 384.
Seth Price topped the Redmen with a 380 on the strength of a 212 single game. Brady Higginbotham added a 315.
Wynford won the Jayvee 1 match 1785-1660. Briar Ridge had a 343 for the Royals. Carson Kalb and Collin Greilich rolled 271 apiece for Bucyrus.
The Redmen took the Jayvee 2 match 1432-1111. Kyle Pifer led Bucyrus with a 274. Gary Weisenauer bowled a 230 for the Royals.
Bucyrus resumes action on Monday, hosting Fostoria. Wynford will entertain Liberty-Benton on Tuesday.
