SHELBY — Bucyrus boys’ and girls’ bowling teams swept non-league matches with Shelby Wednesday at Dynasty Lanes.
The boys took down the Whippets, 2507-1726. Seth Price led the Redmen with a 425 series, including a single-game high of 240. Brody Higginbotham added a 409.
Sam Vousden had a 325 for Shelby. Bucyrus won the three Baker games, 575-430.
Bucyrus took the girls’ match, 1625-1401. Ellie Spitler and Rylee Powers shared high honors with a pair of 307 series. Powers had the high game with a 159.
Julie Auck topped the Whippets with a 267 series. Shelby edged Lady Red, 256-253 in two Baker games.
Bucyrus will be back in action Saturday at the Crawford County Meet at Suburban Lanes.
