Wayne Trace’s Linder brothers combined for 62 points Tuesday night as the Raiders defeated Buckeye Central 80-51. The loss at the division 4 regional at Bowling Green ended Buckeye Central’s season with a record of 23-3.
Corbin Linder scored 32 points with 6 threes and younger brother Ethan scored 30 as Wayne Trace improved to 23-3 on the year and will play for the regional title on Friday night.
Buckeye Central grabbed an early lead before Wayne Trace went on a 15-0 run to have a 13 point lead after the first period. The Bucks were able to cut the lead to 8 in the third period before the Raiders put the game away with a 20 point final period.
Buckeye Central was led in scoring by Cade Kaple with 21 points; Austin Wurm added 15.
Seniors who played their final game for the Bucks last night were Stone Wurm, Sam Robertson and Cade Kaple.
