The Buckeye Central Bucks played host to Bucyrus on the hard court Saturday night and emerged with an eight point victory.
The Bucks opened up with a 15-10 first quarter over the Redmen, and extended their lead to six going into the half with a 29-23 lead. The Redmen opened the second half sluggish being outscored by the Bucks 11-1, however with a blowout looking eminent, they outscored Buckeye Central 18-10 in the fourth for a 50-42 final.
Buckeye Central was led by Jacob Shade’s 20 points.
With the win the Bucks improve to .500 in the N10 with a 7-7 record, and move up to 9-10 overall.
Buckeye Central will next play the Colonel Crawford Eagles on Friday, February 17 at Colonel Crawford.
Bucyrus’ Gavin Lewis was the top scorer for the Redmen posting 18 points in the game.
With the loss Bucyrus falls to 3-11 in the N10 and 3-15 on the season.
Bucyrus will next play Carey February 17 at home.

Wynford defeated Seneca East 74-44. Jack Reed scored 18 points, and Zach Hoffman added 17 points.
For Seneca East Johnny Diehm scored his 1,000th point of his career on a 13 point night.
In other action around the N10 Upper Sandusky achieved a share of the N10 title, and remained undefeated with a win over Mohawk 80-44, Colonel Crawford defeated New Reigel 44-39, and Carey beat Ridgedale 85-44..
