TIFFIN — Karter Boggs placed 7th Saturday in the Division IV regional cross country meet at Hedges-Boyer Park. The Bucyrus senior hit the line in 16:08.56.
Anderson (AJ) Griffin was 56th in 17:18.32 and Micah Spears 126th in 18:03.81.
Colonel Crawford finished (341 points) sixth to qualify as a team.
Team members include Shawn Auck 39th in 16:58.55, Isaac Stirm 41st, Braeden Grau took 44th in 17:02.43 and Landon Strausbaugh 88th in 17:42.67.
Seneca East’s Nevin Holmes took 21st in 16:34.79. Ayden Perkins was 74th in 17:32.27, Francisco Lantz 85th in 17:40.65, Easton Voorhees 143rd in 18:13.10 and Remington Newell 171st in 18:32.92.
Phoenix Nally of Mohawk clocked 17:00.58 to take 42nd, with Kolton Wood placing 116th in 18:00.16.
Jeremiah Roberson of Buckeye Central was 92nd in 17:46.95.
Seneca East was 14th and Bucyrus 18th.
Ridgedale’s Brogan Weston is the Division IV regional runner-up at the Pickerington North regional. His time was 16:01.
In Division IV, the top eight boys’ teams and top 16 individuals, and the top nine girls teams and top 18 individuals. For D-III it’s top 6 teams and 12 individuals for both boys and girls.
Seneca East’s Aubrey Ritzler placed ninth in 19:17.93.
Other Tiger runners were Avery Schwab 58th in 21:07.95, Julia Enders 77th in 21:35.80, Emma Vorhees 84th in 21:44.86, Valerie Bordner 106th in 22:03.61, Lydia Ruffing 125th in 22:18.53 and Jordyn Enders 166th in 23:05.00.
Seneca East girls were 8th overall and will qualify for next Saturday’s event.
For the first time in school history Crestline is sending a girl to the state meet.
Nevaeh Hill placed 16th and her time of 19:47.76 is a new Crestline school record.
Buckeye Central’s Angela Figueroa finished 42nd with a time of 20:37.68. She will also advance to state.
Colonel Crawford’s Sydney Link was 75th in 21:33.96, Emily Schwenning 88th in 21:50.85, Alyssa Crank 160th in 22:58.41 and Ella Harding 171st in 23:12.81.
Mohawk’s Eva Johnson took 112th place in 22:06.93.
Madalyn Weiler of Bucyrus was 144th in 22:44.41 and Makinsey Weiler was 268th in 25:35.22.
Wynford had three participants.
Sophomore Elena Alegre, 255th, 25:05.04; senior Drew Pope, 260th, 20:02.73; and junior Brooklyn Stauffer, 279th, in 26:00.87.
Other area girls teams include Carey 10th, Crawford 21st and Buckeye Central 28th.
Division III results
Makayla Halbisen of Galion ran 20:33.76, good for 34th.
Teammates Makenzie Halbisen was 40th in 20:47.52, followed by Katelyn Carr 49th in 21:01.51, Alayna Griffith 87th in 22:28.34, Ashley Soha 113th in 23:00.71, Madison Beck 129th in 23:29.26 and Savannah Nelson 134th in 23:44.21.
