The football game between visiting Mohawk and home Buckeye Central has playoff implications for the Bucks and, though no playoff implications for Warriors, a win would mean a fine regular season record of 7-3.

Both schools have excellent traditions and now look to start a new tradition on Friday night by honoring military personnel and veterans in Military Appreciation Night. Both schools are proud to support the efforts of the brave men and women who have served our country as members of the military. Those attending the game on Friday that are current military personnel or veterans are asked to show proof of the service and will be admitted free to the game. They will be asked to sign in and then be recognized after the first quarter of the game.

The players from Buckeye Central will be showing their support of our military by wearing alternative camo style jerseys for the third year in a row.

We welcome all to come out and support the young men on the field and salute those who are or have served their country.

A special note, Mohawk Principal Brett Graham served 28 years in the Army, serving tours in Afghanistan, Bosnia and Kosovo.

The evening is also Buckeye Central Senior Night to honor our seniors in volleyball, cross country, golf, band, cheerleading and football. A total of 37 BC seniors will be honored.
