All local baseball and softball teams learned their tournament schedule following yesterday’s draws at district locations statewide.

In softball, Colonel Crawford received the No. 3 seed and took a first-round bye in the Division III Lexington district. The Lady Eagles will host the Huron-Margaretta winner May 11.

Bucyrus got the No. 5 seed and will entertain No. 12 Western Reserve on May 8. No. 4 seed Galion took a bye to the second round and hosts the Fostoria-New London winner on May 11.

In the Division IV Shelby district, No. 9 Buckeye Central travels to No. 7 Norwalk St. Paul and No. 6 Crestline journeys to No. 5 Wynford on May 7. No. 4 Mohawk is home against No. 12 Mansfield Christian on May 10.

No. 3 Seneca East took a bye to the second round and will play the Crestline-Wynford winner on May 10 in Attica.

In the Division II Elida district, No. 10 Norwalk is at No. 6 Upper Sandusky on May 8.

On the baseball side, No. 9 Bucyrus travels to Margaretta and No. 10 Wynford is at No. 7 Woodmore, both on May 9.

Galion received the No. 1 seed and took the first-round bye. The Tigers will host the Bucyrus-Margaretta

In the Division IV Galion district, No. 1 Seneca East will host the winner of Mansfield Christian and Ridgemont, while No. 5 Buckeye Central make the short trip to backyard rival No. 4 Plymouth, both on May 10.

On May 8, No. 9 Crestline goes to No. 6 Colonel Crawford. The winner will go to Mohawk on May 10.

Upper Sandusky, playing in the Division II Elida district, received the No. 5 seed and will host No. 7 Spencerville on May 9.
