CAREY — The Blue Devils swept a Northern 10 Athletic Conference volleyball match from the visiting Royals.
Carey (2-5, 2-3 N10) won by scores of 27-25, 25-19 and 25-21.
For Wynford (2-6, 1-4), Maddie Coffman was 13 for 13 serving with two aces and six points. Macey Zinser had seven kills and Kelsie Williams added eight assists.
Rylee Alspach had 12 digs, Macey Zinser had two blocks and Lainey Holman finished with 16 receptions.
Wynford resumes N10 play, hosting Mohawk on Thursday.
Van Buren 4, Upper Sandusky 0
UPPER SANDUSKY — The Black Knights scored three first-half goals and cruised to a 4-0 victory in a girls’ North Central Ohio Soccer Association match Tuesday.
Hannah Missler, Grace Hoerig and Payton Sendelbach scored the first-half goals for Van Buren (2-1-1, 1-0 NCOSA). Rylee Johnson tacked on the fourth goal in the second half.
Lady Rams’ goalkeeper Cortni Brown had eight saves. Upper Sandusky (3-4, 0-1 NCOSA) had only one shot on goal.
The Rams entertain Liberty-Benton on Thursday.
