NEW WASHINGTON — Bucyrus scored on an interception on the third play of the game and the wheels came off for Buckeye Central early in this Northern 10 Athletic Conference game.
Harley Robinson stepped in front of a Brady Kerschner pass at the Bucks’ 29 yard line and ran it back for a touchdown, one of four scores for the Redmen senior.
Robinson scored on runs of 72 and 14 yards and caught a 36-yard pass from backup quarterback Trevor Ley to help give Bucyrus (2-4, 1-2 N10) a commanding 48-0 lead at halftime.
Keaton Naufzinger scored on runs of four and two yards and Devon Newland tacked on a 19-yard run. On the other side of the ball, the defense held Buckeye Central (0-6, 0-3) to six net yards by intermission and 103 total for the game.
Newland rushed 11 times for 168 yards and Robinson had seven carries for 112 yards. The only score in the second half came on a five-yard run by starting quarterback Ben Seibert.
Avery Baldosser had 64 yards on the ground on 20 carries to lead the Bucks. Freshman Aiden McDougal completed three of nine passes for 52 yards.

ATTICA — Blaine Swartzmiller rushed for 291 yards and three touchdowns and Chase Foos competed seven of nine passes for 180 yards and two scores as Seneca East handed Wynford (4-2, 2-1) its first N10 loss ever.
The Royals’ first touchdown came in the second quarter on a 21-yard pass from Blake Sparks to Nate Imbody. Cody Taylor ran a fumble recovery back 21 yards for a score in the third quarter.
Collan Martin caught a 75-yard scoring pass from Foos in the third quarter for Seneca East (5-1, 2-1).
Mohawk 14, Colonel Crawford 7
NORTH ROBINSON — A fumble return for a touchdown proved to be the difference in Mohawk’s victory. Zach Hayman rambled 65 yards for a score in the third quarter, breaking a 7-7 tie.
Keith Jenkins scored on a 49-yard run for the Warriors (6-0, 3-0) in the first quarter. The Eagles tied it when Zye Shipman hooked up with Jordan Fenner on a 36-yard scoring strike in the second period.
Shipman was 14 of 24 for 191 yards for Colonel Crawford (3-3, 1-2). Fenner caught nine balls for 85 yards and Owen Seevers grabbed six for 79 yards.
Jenkins rushed for 132 yards on 20 carries and completed five of 14 passes for 106 yards to lead Mohawk. Hayman had three receptions for 68 yards.
