Colonel Crawford 21, Bucyrus 0

BUCYRUS — Colonel Crawford built a 14-0 halftime lead and the defense tossed a shutout as the Eagles held off Bucyrus in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference game.

More than just rain dampened homecoming ceremonies for the Redmen and Queen Miranda Mee. The Bucyrus offense was limited to 148 yards of total offense.

Dylan Knisely scored all three touchdowns for Colonel Crawford (5-3, 3-2 N10) on nine-yard run and a pair of one-yard runs.

Colton Rowland led the Eagles with 91 yards on 13 carries, while Knisely added 76 yards on 21 attempts. Only two passes were completed between the teams. Brock Ritzhaupt was 0-for-6 for Colonel Crawford and Ben Seibert finished two of 10 for 20 yards for Bucyrus (2-6, 1-5).

Hastin Zier led Bucyrus with 34 yards rushing on seven carries. Keaton Naufzinger, Harley Robinson and Devon Newland had 33, 33 and 31 yards rushing as well. Robinson caught the two Bucyrus pass completions.

The game was marred by 22 enforced penalties for a total of 230 yards.

HOLMES TOWNSHIP — Carey built a 28-0 halftime lead and the Blue Devils’ defense held Wynford to 65 total yards of total offense en route to their N10 victory.

Quarterback Ethan Berringer completed six of eight passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns to lead Carey (5-3, 3-2). Jordan Dasher rushed for 115 yards on eight carries and caught four passes for 72 yards.

Gavin Burris was six of 12 for 38 yards passing for Wynford (5-3, 3-2). Gavin Leffler had two receptions for 17 yards.

NEW WASHINGTON — Mohawk rolled up 407 yards of offense to race past Buckeye Central in an N10 contest.

Bryce Kirian rushed for 106 yards on 12 carries to lead the Warriors. Jesse Leeth had 83 yards on seven tries, good for three touchdowns. Mason Danner had 82 yards on the ground and a touchdown as Mohawk (8-0, 5-0) ran for 284 yards.

Keith Jenkins completed five of nine passes for 118 yards and a score.

Avery Baldosser led Buckeye Central (0-8, 0-5) with 60 yards rushing on 16 carries. Jacob Maxhimer added 48 yards on nine attempts.

Quarterback Brady Kerschner was eight of 14 passing for 97 yards and two touchdowns. Kevin Moyer caught three passes for 69 yards and two scores.

Seneca East 63, Upper Sandusky 6

Blaine Swartzmiller rushed for 270 yards on 15 carries and scored three touchdowns as to lead Seneca East to the rout of Upper Sandusky in an N10 game.

Quarterback Chase Foos completed six of 12 passes for 154 yards and three scores. Six different Tigers scored touchdowns.

The Seneca East (7-1, 4-1) defense held Upper Sandusky (3-5, 1-4) to 80 yards of total offense. The Rams had 59 yards on the ground on 13 carries and they completed four of 14 passes for 21 yards.

Nate McMillan had an 80-yards kickoff return in the first quarter for the Rams’ only score.

North Union 49, Galion 35

North Union tallied 28 first-quarter points and held off a late Galion rally to win a high-scoring Mid-Ohio Athletic League matchup.

North Union (6-2, 3-2 MOAC) piled up 579 yards of offense — 555 on the ground, resulting in seven touchdowns. The Wildcats threw only two passes, completing one for 24 yards.

Trevor Moran ran for 210 yards on 28 carries and four scores, Trevyn Feasel had 198 yards on 18 attempts and two touchdowns, and Carson Smith added 153 yards on 18 carries and a score.

Elias Middleton led Galion (4-4, 1-4), completing 13 of 24 passes for 233 yards and two touchdowns. Middleton also ran for 94 yards and two scores. Isaiah Alsip caught seven balls for 150 yards and two TDs.

The Tigers had 363 yards of total offense as the teams combined for 942 yards.
