LEIPSIC (Crawford County Now) — Mohawk fell on the road 36-7 in a Division VII Region 26 quarterfinal game Friday night.

The Warriors had 176 yards through the air and just 47 yards on the ground for 223 total yards. Quarterback Andon Clouse went 11-for-24 passing for 176 yards.

Leipsic (10-1) held Kaleb Bish to 31 rushing yards, and Levi Tiell had five catches for 102 yards.

The lone Mohawk score came blocked punt by the Warriors’ Owen Patrizi. Brother Aden Patrizi scooped the ball up and scored from a couple yards out.

Marc Kirkendall was 15-of-24 for 235 passing yards and three TDs. Marquise Williams led the Vikings with 101 yards rushing and a TD, to go with five catches for 81 yards.

Leipsic will host Pandora-Gilboa (9-3) next Friday. Pandora won at North Baltimore Friday, 63-42.

Tigers eliminated

ARCHBOLD — Ryder Ryan piled up 150 rushing yards and three touchdowns as third-seeded Archbold rolled to a 44-12 Division VI Region 22 quarterfinal win over sixth-seeded Seneca East on Friday.

Seneca East ends its season at 8-4.

The Tigers scored on a nine-play, 60-yard drive capped by a one-yard touchdown run by quarterback Nicholas Parks. Parks hit Ethan Shultz for a 16-yard scoring strike for the other SE touchdown.

Shultz had 4 catches for 62 yards. Parks had 39 rushing yards and Jackson Gayheart 33 yards.

The win for the Bluestreaks (9-2), gives them their first playoff win since 2023.

Blue Devils score upset

CASTALIA — Ninth-seeded Carey controlled the clock and defeated Margaretta 35-7 in a Division VI Region 22 quarterfinal at the Duck Pond on Friday.

Carey (8-4) got touchdowns from five players as Tripp Phoenix (10 yard run), Dash Puckett (1 yard run), Carter Bame (42 yard run), Eli Steen (1 yard run) and Mace Puckett (6 yard run) found the end zone.

The Blue Devils led 21-7 at halftime. Dash Puckett had an interception and Bame recovered a Polar Bears fumble.

They will play Paulding, 14-10 winners over Sherwood Fairview next week.
