Seven teams in north central Ohio remain alive in Week 13 of the Ohio High School Athletic Association’s football playoffs.
Two Richland County teams — Shelby and Mansfield Senior — are facing defending state champions. Carey is very familiar with the playoff landscape and is just two years removed from winning it all in Division VI.
Northmor has gone further than it ever has, reaching the third round. Norwalk St. Paul has a rich heritage, as does Tiffin Columbian.
Hopewell-Loudon remains the only unblemished team with 12 wins.
Here are capsules of each team’s game. All kick off at 7 p.m. Friday at the neutral sites listed by the OHSAA.
