Wynford found themselves trailing 32-30 at the half to Crestline Friday night, but they turned around their fortunes in the second half to emerge with a 65-50 win.
In a game that featured 11 lead changes and six ties, the Bulldogs jumped out to a 17-15 first
quarter lead. Wynford and Crestline remained neck and neck in the second quarter with each team scoring 15 points. Wynford started to pull away in the third quarter as they outscored Crestline 15-10 for a 45-42 lead. The Royals jumped into the driver’s seat in the fourth as they outscored the Bulldogs 20-8 on their way to a victory.
Wynford had four players in double digits as Alex Crall led all scorers in the game with 18 points, Nate Sparks had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds, Braxton Tea contributed 13 points, and Tyler Glowalski added 11.
Zach Gregory led Crestline with 14 points and Tyler Sipes added 10 points.

The Buckeye Central Bucks exorcised the Carey Blue Devils on their home court Friday night on their way to a 61-47 victory.
Battling back and forth in the first, Carey emerged with a 12-11 lead. Buckeye Central returned the favor as they entered the half with a 25-24 lead. The Bucks stretched their lead to four at the end of the third with a 39-35 lead. The Bucks closed out the game by outscoring the Blue Devils 22-12 for the victory.
Buckeye Central’s Grant Loy had a 20/20 performance scoring 29 points and grabbing 20 boards. Max Loy added 11 points, and Jacob Shade had 11 boards.
Abel LaRoche led Carey with 22 points.

The Colonel Crawford Eagles defeated the Ridgedale Rockets 55-39.
Owen Adams led the Eagles with 15 points and Hayden Bute contributed 13 points.
Ridgedale was led by Alex Eldred with 15 points and Mo Britton added 12 points.
In other action around Crawford County, the Galion Tigers defeated the North Union Wildcats 50-39. Bucyrus was defeated by Upper Sandusky 84-43.
