ATTICA — Local runners fared well in the Northern 10 Athletic Conference cross country meet at Seneca East Saturday.
Senior Karter Boggs of Bucyrus finished first in 16:06.39 as he continues to pile up honors. He was followed by Nevin Holmes of Seneca East in 16:36.13.
The Colonel Crawford duo of Shawn Auck (16:40.25) and Isaac Stirm (16:55.87) took third and fourth, respectively.
The Eagles took first as a team, with Bucyrus fourth behind Upper Sandusky and Seneca East.
Anderson (AJ) Griffin of Bucyrus took seventh in 17:15.14. Micah Spears came in 16th in 17:55.54.
Mohawk’s Phoenix Nally was eighth in 17:15.45. Braeden Grau of Colonel Crawford placed ninth in 17:17.14 and Francisco Lantz of Seneca East took 10th in 17:24.73.
Drew Pope of Wynford was 33rd in 19:57.98.
In the girls division, Upper Sandusky will repeat as girls champions with all five runners in the top nine.
Seneca East got second with Carey third, Colonel Crawford fourth and Buckeye Central fifth.
Aubrey Ritzler of Seneca East took first place with a time of 19:29.58.
Teammate Emma Voorhees got fourth 20:52.25, with Buckeye Central’s Angela Figueroa fifth in 21:01.3.
Avery Schwab of Seneca East came in eighth in 21:23.43.
Lady Eagles Emily Schwenning was 11th in 21:41.84 and Sydney Link came in 13th clocking 21:53.46.
The top Lady Red runner was Madalyn Weiler, 25th in 23:11.00.

MOAC AT MARION HARDING
Shelby won the girls division of the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference. River Valley was second and Galion came in fifth.
Makayla Halbisen of Galion finished sixth in 20:28.12. Katelyn Carr was 13th and Mackenzie Halbisen 14th for the Lady Tigers.
Ontario captured the boys title and Galion finished sixth.
Caleb Burton of Highland hit the line first in 16:14.54.
Harding’s Andrew Tackett finished fourth in 17:03.80. Pleasant’s Joey Dietsch was fifth in 17:09.57 and River Valley’s Kael Swartz sixth in 17:23.26.

MID-BUCKEYE CONFERENCE AT MANSFIELD
Crestline standout Nevaeh Hill took second, running a PR of 20:37. That time makes her the second fastest girl in school history.
The Bulldog boys had a strong showing, with Quinn Keller taking third.
Camden McCunn was eighth with a 14:34 PR. Adam Burton also recorded a PR, running a time of 21:57.
