BUCYRUS — The Clear Fork Lady Colts swept the Bucyrus Lady Red, 5-0, in a girls’ tennis match on Monday.
In first singles, Noel Cline defeated Emma Graves, 6-0, 6-1. Emily Montgomery topped Lily Engelhorn, 6-1, 6-0, in second singles.
Sophia Wilson edged Amirah Price, 6-4, 6-4 in third singles.
Aly Brokaw and Makenna Whertz took first doubles over Ella Green and Addy Weber, 6-2, 6-2, while Iona Hrekeson and Addi Johnson dropped Layla Swerlein and Mya Rothhaar, 6-2, 7-5, in second doubles.
Bucyrus won two junior varsity doubles matches. Isabel Johnson and Lady Faye McCoy won 9-8 and Adalyn Zornes and Savannah Clark won 8-0.
The Lady Red fall to 0-2 on the season and will host Ontario on Wednesday.
