BUCYRUS — The was a great deal of turmoil among the Fanatics during Week 6 as three loner selections were right, and three were wrong, causing some shifts in the standings.
Iconic Rock Q92.7 WQEL play-by-play analyst Josh Stallings came out of Week 6 with the best weekly record of 7-3 and news director James Massara came out with the next best at 6-4.
Most of the Fanatics will look to fare better in Week 7 as many struggled to go .500 in the previous week.

In the Burkhart Farm Center Game of the Week on Iconic Q92.7 WQEL, Wynford was the unanimous pick to get back on the winning track against Upper Sandusky. Both teams suffered loses in Week 6 and will look to bounce back.
In the McDonald’s of Bucyrus and Galion Game of the Week on Country Legends 1540/107.5 WBCO, the Fanatics and the fans made another unanimous pick as Colonel Crawford was picked to win against Buckeye Central in another matchup where both teams are coming off losses in Week 6.
Elsewhere in the area, the Fanatics were fairly split in the pick between Marion County and Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference rivals Pleasant and River Valley. In a must-win game for both, the majority sided with Pleasant while the fans went with the minority picking the Vikings.
After both teams picked up Homecoming wins last week, Bucyrus was the favorite for the majority to defeat Mohawk as Bucyrus tries to stay ahead of the Warriors in the Northern 10 Athletic Conference standings. Stallings and Massara were the only two picks for Mohawk to get back to even in the N10.
In the MOAC, Shelby was the pick to stay undefeated in the conference by the majority of the Fanatics, but Friday Night Phoneboard host Davey Jones joined Stallings in the pick for Galion to knock off the Whippets and move into a tie for first.
For the fourth time in 2019, Ridgedale is the favorite for the Fanatics. This time, its against Grove City Christian and the Eagles received love and the pick from Coaches Corner East host Mike Sparks and Country Legends 1540/107.5 WBCO color commentator Tim Birie.
Stallings did fly solo on two picks as he went against the grain picking two road teams to win in the fashion of winless Cory-Rawson defeating Crestline and winless Mapleton defeating Plymouth. The rest of the Fanatics think the zeros will remain in the win column.
The two other unanimous picks in Week 7 were N10-leading Seneca East was picked to defeat Carey and Northmor was picked to defeat Cardington-Lincoln after the Golden Knights suffered its first loss last week.
In the standings, Massara made a jump over Sparks into a tie for first place with Birie, while Stallings used last week’s top record to move into a tie for fourth place with Jones. The Fans then jumped WQEL morning host Will Beard for sixth place, as Beard moved down into a three-way tie for last place with Country Legends 1540/107.5 WBCO play-by-play analyst Jared Moore and sports director Dan Messerschmidt.
